Pictures/SizeMate
2.1 Google AdMob —
- 구글 광고 및 개인정보 보호: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- 구글 개인정보처리방침: policies.google.com/privacy
2.2 Google Play —
|---|---|
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | 광고 요청, 업데이트 확인 |

kr.co.shaile.sizemate.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION | 앱 안에서만 쓰는 내부 권한 — 안드로이드 라이브러리(AndroidX)가 자동으로 선언하며, 다른 앱은 쓸 수 없습니다 |

Privacy Policy

SizeMate (“the app”) makes copies of your photos that fit the width × height and file size you choose. This document states plainly what information the app handles.
1. Information the app collects — none
The app does not collect or transmit any personal information, including your photos.
- There is no sign-up and no account
- The app runs no server of its own
- It never asks for your name, email, phone number, address, contacts or location
1.1 Photos
- The app reads only the photos you pick with the Android photo picker or share to SizeMate from another app. Conversion happens on your device, and your photos are never uploaded anywhere.
- Results are saved as new copies in the
Pictures/SizeMatefolder on your device. Originals are never changed or deleted. - Copies do not carry the original’s location, device or capture-time metadata.
- If you pick a photo stored in the cloud, that service may download it to your device. That is the service’s own behaviour.
- When you send copies with the Share button, they go to the app you choose.
1.2 What stays on your device
- Up to 20 recent job records — original file names, settings and results (dimensions, file size), small previews
- Up to 10 saved settings (presets) and app settings
- Temporary photos for resuming a paused job — kept for up to 24 hours
This information stays on your device and never leaves it. It is not included in Google Drive backups. You can remove it with “Delete record”, “Clear all job records” or “Clear temporary photos” in the app, and it is removed when you uninstall the app. Copies saved to your gallery remain until you delete them yourself.
2. Information collected by third-party services
The app uses the Google services below. Google may collect information in the process, and handles it under Google’s own policies.
2.1 Google AdMob — ads
Used to show a banner ad on the results screen and, only if you choose to watch it during processing, a rewarded ad (an hour without ads). Your photos, file names and job details are never included in ad requests.
Google may collect:
- Advertising ID (AAID) — a resettable advertising identifier on your device
- Device information (model, OS version), approximate location (from IP address), network information
- Ad interactions such as impressions and clicks
The purposes are ad delivery, frequency capping, measurement and fraud prevention.
- How Google uses information from apps that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/ads
- Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy
Users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the UK are asked for consent through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) before any ad is requested.
2.2 Google Play — in-app updates
Used to check whether a new version is available on the store and to offer the update. No information other than the version check is exchanged.
3. Permissions the app requests
Every permission the release build actually declares.
| Permission | Why |
|---|---|
INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE | Ad requests, update checks |
com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID | Access to the advertising ID (AdMob) |
ACCESS_ADSERVICES_AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_ATTRIBUTION,ACCESS_ADSERVICES_TOPICS | Android Ad Services (Privacy Sandbox) — required by AdMob |
WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE | Downloading updates and the ad SDK’s background work |
kr.co.shaile.sizemate.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION | An internal permission used only inside the app — declared automatically by an Android library (AndroidX); other apps cannot use it |
The app does not request photo, storage, camera, microphone, location or contacts permissions. Because it uses the photo picker, it can access only the photos you pick.
4. Your choices
- Turn off ad personalisation / reset your advertising ID — on your device,
Settings → Google → Ads - Change your consent (EEA and UK) — “Ad privacy choices” in the app’s settings
- Go ad-free for a while — watch a rewarded ad during processing for an hour without ads
- Delete records — “Delete record”, “Clear all job records” or “Clear temporary photos” in the app, or uninstall it
Because the app holds no personal information, there is no separate procedure for access, correction or deletion requests. For information held by Google, please follow Google’s policies and your account settings.
5. Children
The app is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14.
6. Changes
When this policy changes, this document is updated along with its effective date. Significant changes are announced with an app update.
